Goat Pox Vaccine

Composition:

After reconstitution with respective diluents each dose of 1 ml should contain not less than 1 x 103.0 TCID50 Goat Pox virus.

Indication:

A vaccine indicated for prophylactic vaccination against Goat Pox in goat.

Vaccination Program:

The vaccine may be administered in kids at 4 months of age or older. Ideally, vaccinate after the kidding season or before breeding season. 

Administration:

This vaccine should be administered with a subcutaneous injection at mid neck or thigh region. Use precautions including application on clean dry skin, sterile needles and syringes for every administration.

Pack Size and Storage:

The vaccine is freeze dried (lyophilised) in glass vials. It is available in 25, 50 & 100 doses per vial with respective diluents, namely 25ml, 50ml and 100ml vials. Store the vaccine vials in a cool dry place below 8°C. Protect the diluents from light, however they may be stored at room temperature.
