Lumpy Skin Disease Vaccine, Live LSD , Neethling Strain
Composition:
After reconstitution with respective diluents each dose of 1 ml should contain not less than 1 x 103.5 TCID50 Lumpy Skin Disease virus Neethling strain.
Indication:
A vaccine indicated for prophylactic vaccination against Lumpy Skin Disease in Cattle.
Vaccination Program:
Calves from vaccinated cows should be vaccinated at 6 months of age or older. Calves from unvaccinated cows should be vaccinated at any age. Annual booster in recommended, Ideally, vaccinate after the calving season or before breeding season.
Administration:
This vaccine should be administered with a subcutaneous injection at mid neck or thigh region. Use precautions including application on clean dry skin, sterile needles and syringes for every administration.
Pack Size and Storage:
The vaccine is freeze dried (lyophilized)in glass vials. It is available in 25, 50 & 100 doses per vial with respective diluents, namely 25ml, 50ml and 100ml vials. Store the vaccine vials in a cool dry place between 2 °C to 8 °C. Protect the diluents from light, however they may be stored at room temperature.
