Inactivated Chick ND

Composition:

Each dose contains not less than a pre-inactivation titer of 1 x 108.5 EID50 of Newcastle disease virus.

Indication:

An inactivated vaccine developed for use in young chicks (up to 10 days’ old), broad protection against Newcastle disease, especially in geographical areas where the disease is endemic. 

Vaccination Program:

  • Young chicks between 1 to 10 days of age should be given this vaccine in conjunction with a live virus Newcastle disease vaccination. 
  • A dose of 0.1 ml per chick is recommended. 

Administration:

This vaccine should be brought to room temperature before use. It must be injected subcutaneously in the lower neck region using standard aseptic techniques. Ensure that all birds in the flock are properly vaccinated, but do not vaccinate within 21 days of slaughter.
