Live Las Mas

Composition:

Each dose contains not less than 106 EID50 LaSota strain, Newcastle Disease virus and 103.5 EID50 Mass. strain, Infectious Bronchitis virus.

Indication:

A vaccine indicated for the immunisation of chickens against Newcastle Disease and Avian Infectious Bronchitis, for both initial and booster vaccinations.

Vaccination Program: 

  • The first dose of the vaccine can be administered at 2 weeks of age or older.
  • Once the chick is 4-6 weeks of age, a second dose should be administered.
  • Replacement pullets should also be given booster vaccinations between 16 and 18 weeks of age.
  • Vaccination Reaction: Respiratory symptoms may be more evident after the first vaccination and will vary with age and parental immunity. Make sure the birds are comfortable with heat and ventilation while going through the reaction.

Administration:

This vaccine can be administered by Intraocular instillation or via drinking water.

Pack Size and Storage:

The vaccine is freeze dried (lyophilised) and 10 vials are packed per box. It is available in 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 2500, 5000 and 10000 doses per vial, with diluent. Protect the vaccine from light and store between 2°C and 8°C; do not freeze it.
