Live H120

Composition:

Each dose contains Not Less Than 103.5 EID50 Massachusetts Type H120, IB Virus.

Indication:

A vaccine indicated for the inoculation of chickens against Avian Infectious Bronchitis caused by the Massachusetts type strain.

Vaccination Program:

  • The first dose of the vaccine can be administered at 1 day of age or older.
  • Once the chick is 2 weeks of age, a second dose should be administered.
  • It can also be used as a booster vaccination for replacement pullets between the ages of 16 to 18 weeks.
  • Vaccination Reaction: Respiratory symptoms may be more evident after the first vaccination and will vary with age and parental immunity. Make sure the birds are comfortable with heat and ventilation while going through the reaction.

Administration:

This vaccine can be administered by the Course Spray method, Intraocular instillation or via drinking water.

Pack Size and Storage:

The vaccine is freeze dried (lyophilised) and 10 vials are packed per box. It is available in 500, 1000 and 2000 doses per vial, with diluent. Protect the vaccine from light and store between 2°C and 8°C; do not freeze it.
